OCFC Harold W. Stoll
| SSgt "Pappy" Stoll joined Echo Flt with almost 8 years for pay purposes. Upon graduation, Lt Stoll was assigned to Harlingen for Undergraduate Navigator Training. The 1982 Air Force Register shows Pappy still on active duty as a Lt Colonel, Master Navigator, with a Bachelors Degree, SOS & ACSC. From the shotgun message seeking bio's from classmates, Pappy responded, "Got your email loud and clear. I have no idea where any of my OCS stuff got to. I remember a box -- somewhere -- with shoulder boards, notebook and other stuff ... but cannot place the storage location or when it was I laid eyes on it. I'll get back to you when the fuzz clears." It's safe to say that in '82, Pappy was working on his 30th year and a Lt Colonel. |
