A/2C Bob McKnight joined Coca Flt in Sep '80. Turning 1st Class, OCFC McKnight moved to Second Sq/Bravo Flt. Upon graduation, Lt McKnight as assigned to Moody AFB, GA for Undergraduate Pilot Training. Bob writes, "Five years of flying Connies then a year in Vietnam flying C-123s. And that was it...enough Vietnam stupidness doing something that I loved so well, for the wrong reasons...in my opinion. "Married Mary Dixon while at Otis. She was...Air Force (OTS)... We were together a long time with a beautiful daughter, both are lawyers...been divorced a half-dozen years. She's still the only one," Bob vows. "Today, I'd probably be considered an outspoken semi-recluse trying to write books. "...sort of retired...been doing some writing and inventing...designed a single-seat VTOL..." capable of NY to Paris in 11 hrs." Bob closes with this offer, "Say, if you've go ten or fifteen million dollars, I've got this airplane that can . . ."
