SSgt Harrel joined Bravo Flt from the Crypto field. He moved to 3rd Sq as O&T in Dec. Bruce graduated in the top half of our class and went to Harlingen for UNT; then to Charleston in C-124/130s. He left AD in'66 and was recalled in '68 bound for Korat in EC-121s. In '69, he joined the 8MAS at McChord. "The highlight of my career was being on the second C-141 to land at Hanoi," he writes (Operation Homecoming). In '76, Maj Harrel retired and moved to Colorado in the medical/health business. He had a hardship tour with a Dillon, CO ski resort. In '01, Bruce retired again and moved to south Missouri. Their house is about a 9-iron from Table Rock Lake. "...live with wife, a big black cat and bulldog," Bruce says. They enjoy water sports, visiting kids in CO, NM, & OK. He has 5 children, 2 step-, 13 grand/step-grandkids.
