SSgt Burrow came to us from across the base where he had been a TI, since 1954. After OCS, Jessie was assigned to Harlingen AFB, TX for Nav Tng. From 1962-65, Lt Burrow navigated C-130s at Sewart AFB, TN. In 1965, Jessie flew C-130s out of Naha AB, Okinawa, "in, out, over and around Vietnam," Jess writes, "...over 75% of my time spent in country...wife and kids were in Okinawa." In 1969, Capt Burrow went to Mather AFB, CA as an instructor. 1972-73, He attended AFCSC at Maxwell then moved back to Lackland as a BMTS commander. From 1976-79, Maj Burrow was assigned to Kelly AFB, TX. From 1979 - 82 he was with the 50TAS at Little Rock AFB, AR (C-130). He retired a Major w/2MSM, DFC, 12AM plus. Jessie and Jane moved to Austin after retirement investing in rental properties and associated "fun" activities (cleaning, cutting, collecting, etc). Burrow's now have "Show Dogs" after owning poodles for many years -- lots of awards in last 10 years . Jessie and Jane have three children and 4 grandchildren.
